Cost-Sharing
Cost-sharing is offered by many architectural photographers as a convenient solution to provide several project partners with affordable access to high-quality images. In the run-up to the shoot, the relevant perspectives are discussed with the parties involved and all parties are given access to the entire image pool. The costs are divided equally between all trades, which significantly reduces the price per partner.
Licensing
One possibility is the specific licensing of existing photos. Usually, a completed project is professionally photographed and extensively documented on behalf of the architects. Contacting the commissioned architectural photographer offers the opportunity to look through the images created and purchase suitable photos for a license fee. The costs for licensing are often between €150 and €250 per photo.
What manufacturers, interior designers and contractors need
For many manufacturers, interior designers and contractors, 2-3 images of a project are often enough to use as references for their marketing. Sharing the costs for up to 30 images therefore often does not offer a good cost-benefit ratio, as the costs are shared equally between all parties. In this case, licensing individual existing images would be the cheapest and simplest solution. However, the type of photography is usually based on the architect's vision and focuses less on the individual product/work. What manufacturers, interior designers and contractors need are individual images tailored to their product/work at an attractive price.

Customized marketing content
In a briefing before the shoot, we discuss which perspectives and details are of particular importance to you. You will then receive a selection PDF with a minimum of 10 photos from which you can choose 3. If you like more than 3 pictures, you can of course also select additional photos. These will be charged at an additional €100 per image. If you are not sure whether 3 pictures are enough? No problem! You can also make an additional selection at any time later.

However, you decide which perspectives are important, whether important details should be photographed or whether the architectural photographer needs to pay attention to special features. You receive the full scope of professional architectural photography, which is fully tailored to your needs.
Which price model is worthwhile in which case?
The Customized Pricing model is primarily aimed at project partners who only want to use a few images for their marketing. A possible scenario would be an exterior shot of the building for context, a nice interior image that showcases the product well, and a detail. If 2-3 more shots are required, the model would still be worthwhile as it is even cheaper than cost sharing.
With more than 7 images, cost sharing can become attractive, as it also includes the option of a detailed briefing. You also have access to the project partners' other images, which can be used freely.
Licensing is an option that is suitable for individual images, or in the event that individual commissioning is not possible or practicable for logistical reasons. However, if you have access to the project, the Customized Pricing model is the best choice to get individual tailored architectural photos for your marketing.
